Lemon Blueberry Cupcake

My daughters love lemon cakes and cupcakes. One rainy day, we were stuck at home with nothing to do. As there were some lemons on the fruit bowl and blueberry pie filling in the fridge, I decided to bake some lemon blueberry cupcakes.

I used cream cheese frosting to compliment the lemon. Simple dual coloured swirl frosted on the cupcakes.

 

 

These cupcakes were delicious and did not last long in our house. Not even overnight!

4-Layer Lemon Cake

It was a busy weekend last week. School functions, family gathering, baking and decorating. 

 

 

Below was one of the weekend's outcome

 

A special birthday cake for a 93 year old grandfather.

 This is a 4-layer Lemon Cake layered with lemony cream cheese and blueberry fillings, frosted with fluffy buttercream and top with fresh strawberry and blueberry.
